Statement on Passing of Julius Michelson

WASHINGTON, DC – Following the passing of former Attorney General Julius C. Michelson, U.S. Congressman David Cicilline issued the following statement:

“Julie Michelson was a brilliant and caring man, deeply committed to social justice and equality.

“He was an accomplished lawyer and distinguished public servant.

 “I had the pleasure of knowing Julie as a friend, colleague and neighbor. His role in the community and his commitment to justice was unmatched, and he made the world a better place.

“I offer my most sincere condolences to Rita and the entire Michelson family. He will be greatly missed.”
