Former Bristol Town Administrator Diane Mederos to Join Cicilline Congressional Office as Deputy District Director

PAWTUCKET – U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI) today announced that Diane Mederos, who served four terms as Bristol Town Administrator, from 2004 to 2012, will join his staff as Deputy District Director later this month.

“Former Bristol Town Administrator, Diane Mederos, is a talented, extremely dedicated and committed public servant and I am delighted that she is joining my team.  Diane will bring great skill and years of experience to her new role serving residents of Rhode Island’s First Congressional District,” said Cicilline.  “Diane possesses a wide knowledge of and deep appreciation for the important responsibilities of a Congressional office and I know that she will be an incredible asset.”

A lifelong Rhode Islander, Mederos previously worked for the Town of Bristol for 28 years, including the last eight as Town Administrator.  She was also the first woman elected to serve as President of the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns.
