Congressman Cicilline Opens Newport Satellite Office

NEWPORT, RI – U.S. Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI) will open the satellite congressional office at Newport City Hall on Friday, September 16, 2011. In addition to the Pawtucket office, Congressman Cicilline is opening this satellite office to make it easier for people to meet with the Congressman and his staff. The Newport congressional office will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoons.

Constituents will also be able to receive assistance from Congressman Cicilline’s staff with any problems they are having accessing federal government services such as Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits.

Congressman Cicilline thanks the Mayor of Newport, the Town Administrator and the Newport City Council for supporting the opening of the satellite congressional office at Newport City Hall.
