Cicilline Announces More Than $2.2 Million for Rhode Island Children and Families
WASHINGTON, DC– U.S. Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI) announced today a total of $2,253,929 in federal grants to Miriam Hospital, Butler Hospital, Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Rhode Island Department of Health and Brown University from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
“These funds will not only help improve the health of Rhode Islanders but will also help stimulate Rhode Island’s economy,” said Congressman Cicilline. “The investments in research and development create rich opportunities for innovators and creative thinkers, and promote a knowledge-based economy in our state.”
